A Bold Vision for House District 71

Hudson is running for State Representative to fight for policies that uplift every Oklahoman, not just the wealthy and well-connected. His priorities include:

Addressing Housing and Homelessness

Hudson is committed to increasing affordable housing and expanding low-barrier shelters, ensuring everyone has a safe place to live. He will champion policies that combat “green gentrification”, making sure economic development benefits all residents—not just developers.

With Oklahoma’s teacher shortage at crisis levels, Hudson will fight for a $50,000 minimum teacher salary to attract and retain top educators. He opposes voucher schemes that siphon resources from public schools and will work to fully fund classrooms.

Oklahoma ranks last in voter participation, and Hudson is determined to change that. He will push for automatic voter registration, ranked-choice voting, open primaries, and re-enfranchisement for non-violent felons, ensuring every voice is heard.

Hudson believes in direct support for families, inspired by successful programs in other states. He will advocate for policies like universal school meals, paid family leave, and economic reforms to lift families out of poverty.

Hudson will fight to protect access to abortion, contraception, and maternal healthcare, ensuring that Oklahomans can make personal medical decisions without government interference.

Oklahoma’s $7.25 minimum wage has left too many workers struggling. Hudson will push for a $15 minimum wage to provide dignity, stability, and economic growth for all.

Hudson supports forward-thinking policies to make Oklahoma a leader in regional economic development, including expanded public transit, film industry incentives, and initiatives like Tulsa Remote.
